Soggy Dog Recording Studio helps singer-songwriters and bands turn demos into stream-ready tracks with expert production, recording, mixing, and mastering, in a relaxed, inspiring studio.
Your goals lead the way, whether tweaking arrangements or choosing session players, we make smart calls to nail your sound. Nestled in the Dandenong Ranges foothills, it sparks your best. Plush couches, fresh coffee, dive in. Biscuits and chocolate? Sometimes. Killer vibes? We hope.
No minimum booking for most work. Pay only for the time you use, even if you book longer sessions.
Steve Vertigan, producer and engineer, built his career as a full-time musician across both classical and contemporary music, and has performed with Grammy and ARIA award winners. His production credits include songs charting on iTunes, AMRAP, the Homegrown Hundred and other charts, along with features in Rolling Stone and on radio and TV. Our regular session musicians are staples of the Australian music industry, with performance credits alongside some of the country's most well-known and loved artists.
